For newly constructed homes, only backyard areas without prior landscaping are eligible

Important

Work must not begin until after a conservation technician completes the initial inspection. Projects that have already begun, or where lawn has been removed prior to inspection, are not eligible.

A qualifying 2-D landscape plan (top-down view) that clearly shows existing lawn, areas of removal, and what will be installed in those areas
